THE ROLE

As a Sushi Chef you will be responsible for assisting with the running of all sushi aspects within the kitchen including sushi, tempura, chicken teriyuaki and hot Sake. Our Nobu Restaurant includes restaurant dining, an interactive sushi bar and intimate private dining spaces.

As an ambassador of the Nobu brand, you will lead by example and share your vision and experience with the team, working to develop those around you encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards
  • Preparing Sushi, Sashimi and other Japanese dishes
  • Be comfortable in your ability to multi-task, prioritise and remain calm under pressure

ABOUT YOU

  • Ideally you would have previous Sushi Chef experience ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel or destination fine dining restaurant
  • A genuine passion and a creative flair
  • An eye for detail and an understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest servic
