Managing Director opportunity working for a leading main contractor in London who have an exceptional name in the market and an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director to lead a new business unit.
This Managing Director will be working for a main contractor focused on the major developments in excess of 100million across residential/education/commercial and healthcare both in private and public sector.
This Managing Director will be heading up a business unit focused on a major development scheme, working closely with the company board and providing decisive leadership, motivation and support across a large operational team. This Managing Director will be implementing strategy, delivering on the project plan and be responsible for one of the largest developments in the home counties.
The role of Managing Director will involve negotiating, bidding and securing on this major project which will involve working with various government stakeholders and multiple specialist contractors.
- This Managing Director will be responsible for agreeing and delivering the business plan.
- Full responsibility for the culture and performance of Health, Safety, Quality and environment.
- Managing the relationship of the customer and ensuring full satisfaction of the project.
- Developing management plans and chairing board meeting and reporting to the group board.
The ideal Managing Director will be confident and resourceful who brings true leadership with vision and drive to the business. The Managing Director will be resilient and able to deal with challenging issues and approach situations with a calm and level head. Customer satisfaction is paramount and it is essential that the Managing Director is strong but has a polished and diplomatic edge. A demonstrable track record of excellent client liaison and proven experience in working with major projects valued between 100 - 400million will be highly desirable.
This Managing Director will benefit from a competitive salary and package;
- 185,000 - 200,000
