A leading UK research & ratings company who provides comprehensive, analytical and rating information are looking to recruit an ambitious new business executive into their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who has a passion for developing new relationships, making high-end well-informed business pitches and has an overriding enthusiasm for quality over quantity.

All pitches are made to clients who already have a relationship or are rated by the client.

Specifics of the role will include -

  • Make new business pitches via call and video conferencing. Develop new relationships and offer informed well researched solutions.
  • Explore new revenue streams, promote new & existing product areas. Take time to understand their business and make recommendations which may benefit their business.
  • Be capable of offering multiple product options and discussing technical proposals at length.
  • Understand your market, appreciate the global professional services sector you work within and learn how best to pitch and close within the sector.
  • Research potential opportunities and present to clients.
  • Maintain the company’s global brand, use to your advantage.
  • Manage your own sales cycle, taking ownership throughout the whole process.

To apply for this position, you should have previous new business experience working in a business to business environment and will need to demonstrate closing experience. Experience of selling into professional services would be advantageous as would any experience of working within the legal, ratings, research, publications, or business information market.
