Job Description
- Based in our baby room working with children aged from 0-2 years.
- Providing a safe, supportive and caring environment for young children in the nursery.
- Supporting children at meal times, sleep times and with personal care.
- Working as a Key worker and carrying out regular observations of children.
- Working with EYFS curriculum planning age appropriate activities.
- Promoting diversity and equal opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and other childcare professionals.
- Attending monthly staff meetings and further training as required.
- Observe and monitor children's behaviour and development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery area.
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Experience:
- Childcare experience: 1 year (essential)
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or day-care setting.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
Qualifications:
- A Level 2 (or more) in a relevant Childcare qualification.
