Our client, an international consultancy with a huge offering of technical and management services across the globe are continuing to invest massively in their environmental group, which currently numbers 30 staff in the Midlands and South West.

This part of the group is a leading provider in planning and environmental consultancy and advice, supporting projects at all stages from initial conception through to construction and maintenance across the UK.

As the business continues to thrive and provide advice to clients on sustainability issues including renewable energy, low carbon economies, impacts of climate change and waste and resource management, so this key role for a Director has been created.

You will be an experienced Environmental Specialist who has the ability to support a range of projects for clients in major public and private sector organisation. You will be tasked with driving the group`s sustainability and carbon strategies and leading projects for a host of clients, whilst working closely with other disciplines within the group to deliver projects for major infrastructure clients.It is expected that you will be recognised for your work and have gained a reputation in the industry and be well regarded by clients.

You may also be a Chartered Civil Engineer and MICE with experience in the development and leadership of outline and detailed design structural and non-structural solutions for flood risk management. Additionally a knowledge of preparing business cases for flood risk management scheme, as well as contract and specification preparation.

A proven ability to co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of design solutions as well as in developing client relationships to explore new opportunities.
