Our client is a versatile Property and Construction Consultancy and they are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their expanding team in Canary Wharf.

Role Description:

  • Conduct building and measured surveys.
  • Ensure adherence to the latest building regulations and technical standards.
  • Gather on-site particulars, draft specifications, obtain estimates, plan maintenance programs, and administer contracts for maintenance work.
  • Analyze and report on building defects.
  • Manage claims and negotiations with loss adjusters, leading to the preparation of drawings and specifications for remedial work.
  • Prepare schedules of dilapidations for both land and buildings.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • MRICS Chartered status.
  • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally with extensive knowledge of properties in London
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues in professional surveying
