A prestigious building and property consultancy situated in London is actively searching for a seasoned Building Surveyor to augment their team of Building Surveyors.
The Building Surveyor's role
In the capacity of a Building Surveyor, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. These will range from delivering a broad spectrum of building surveying services, including but not limited to technical due diligence, defect analysis, condition surveys, planned maintenance planning, and schedules of condition.
Furthermore, the role involves contributing to and spearheading the design aspect of projects, which encompasses a blend of refurbishment and new construction ventures primarily within the education sector, among others. The successful Building Surveyor will also assume full responsibilities of a contract administrator, encompass financial project management for small to medium-sized projects, and engage in client management and business development initiatives.
The successful Building Surveyor will have?
- MRICS qualification
- 4+ years of Building Consultancy experience
- RICS degree educated
- Client focused and commercially minded
- Strong building pathology and technical knowledge
- Collaborative approach and good teamwork
- IT literate
- AutoCAD experience would be beneficial
