We are currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, and work from their London office (hybrid). Our client provides a full range of building surveying services on both residential and commercial projects. Due to continued success and the already existing workload, our client requires a Building Surveyor that can come on board and help to bolster the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a growing Consultancy, that can offer genuine career progression opportunities.
Building Surveyor Position Remuneration
- Salary: £35k - £65k DOE
- Hybrid working (up to 3 days from home)

Building Surveyor Position Overview
- Working on a range of small to medium size residential, commercial and PPM projects providing general building surveying services, including but not limited to:
- Defect diagnosis investigations
- Licences for Alterations
- Dilapidations Claims
- Insurance reinstatement valuations
- Preparation of detailed specifications, schedules of work and drawings
- Drafting and Contract Administration of Minor and Intermediate forms of JCT Contracts
- Preparation of schedule of dilapidations and negotiating on behalf of landlord or tenant
- Other duties to be discussed as required
Building Surveyor Position Requirements
- Relevant degree / qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' building surveying experience
- Able to commute to Birmingham twice a week
- Ideally MCIOB / MRICS if not, be willing to work towards this
- Good organisation skills
- Capable of working both in a team and independently
