A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team. You will be working on commercial projects and housing propertiescarrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works to existing doors and frames. The works will be based across London and Kent and you will be provided with a company van a fuel card. Knowledge of BMTRADA and FIREAS is preferred.
The successful candidate will have:
At least two years experience working with fire doors
A strong background in carpentry and joinery
NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
Experience installing fire doors and frames
Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
Full UK driving license
3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)
What's on offer?
- 40,000 - 48,000 (higher end possible if FIRAS or BM TRADA certified)
- Fire door works on mostly commercial properties (Hospitals, universities, student accommodation, privately owned residential blocks)
- Installing pre-fabricated sets and carrying out remedial works to existing doors and frames
- NVQ 2 in carpentry, CSCS card and a full UK driving license
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Travel required
