Non-Domestic Energy Assessor

This is an exciting opportunity for a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor to join a multidisciplined consultant who operate and provide their highly technical services across the UK. The successful individual will join a team of energy experts within the built environment in their offices in London and work on nationwide projects.

A Non-Domestic Energy Assessor will be responsible for:

  • Carry out energy assessments on a range of commercial projects to ensure they are complying with UK building regulations
  • Make sure designs are in line with UK legislations, CIBSE guides, best practice and are environmentally sensitive
  • Carryout site visits and produce site reports from findings and evaluate post occupancy performances
  • Produce EPC's and Part L reports, as well as working alongside structural engineers, builders, and architects

The ideal Non-Domestic Energy Assessor will have:

  • Relevant degree within an engineering or building services discipline with experience within a NDEA or any other relevant role
  • A Level 4 or Level 5 NDEA accreditation with previous experience carrying out energy assessments on residential, mixed-use and commercial properties
  • Strong passion for the built environment and experience generating EPC's
  • Experience with industry relevant software such as IES-VE to carry out energy modelling
