Our Clients Property Consultancy team provide strategic advice and guide clients through a full spectrum of property consultancy, housing asset management and compliance related activities.

Due to their continued success and growth, we have an opportunity for a Senior Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with proven experience to join our team. The role would suit an individual from a residential surveying background, with experience of managing a fieldwork team and a good working knowledge of mobile electronic data capture systems.

This role will offer you the challenges and the opportunity to develop and progress in a growing and extremely dynamic sector. As a key point of contact for our clients and surveyors, a high level of communication skills and some project management experience will be essential.

The role combines work on-site as well office-based activities and you will need to be willing to travel to project related locations as part of the role, mainly within London and the South east of England

Your role will include but not be limited to:
* Appointment, on site briefing and co-ordination of surveyors
* Assisting with the set-up and testing of mobile devices for data collection
* Managing pilot surveys to test systems and procedures
* Providing guidance for surveyors within the team
* Conduct energy assessments in residential properties
* Liaising with the data analysts within the team
* Undertaking physical reinspections, accompanied visits and other data on site QA checks
* Reporting to the team and clients on progress and issues affecting fieldwork
* Support and reporting to the wider team
* Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices related to energy efficiency
* Act as the Lead Surveyor / DEA on new projects
Experience:
* Appropriate qualifications such as DEA are essential, including knowledge of construction technology relating to residential accommodation.
* Additional related experience in stock condition surveying is highly desirable
* You should be a competent user of MS Office suites such as Word, Excel etc

Your attention to detail and a professional demeanour will reflect the high standards required for this role. You will be methodical and have a high level of intellect with excellent communication skills to ensure projects are delivered to a high quality within agreed timelines

It is anticipated the role will require initial and on-going training in areas where knowledge may be limited, such as retrofit assessments and you will be fully supported in gaining additional expertise and qualifications as the role develops.
