The Company
Your new company, is aan independent, well-established and family owned Insurance Broker, who has been successfully established for over 70 years. Due to their excellent performance and constant success, they have managed to rapidly expand throughout the last decade, by providing innovative commercial and personal lines insurance solutions to their valued clients.
Due to a small restructure, they are now looking for an experienced Operations Director, with a solid background in the Insurance industry This is a great opportunity background to join an ever growing, forward thinking and rewarding organisation.
The role
- Managing the current software platform and liaising with the external software house to ensure all is up to date
- Working closely with the organisationsto enable the resolving of internal issues and delivery of new projects
- Carrying out constant and consistent upgrades and improvements of the organisations platform
- Ability to plan and execute complex projects
- Overseeing compliance processes and all ongoing activities associated with this including liaising with 3rdparty compliance company
- Monitoring, improving and overseeing all internal work flow processes
- Identifyingand implementing new strategies and processes across the business
About you
- 7 + years of experience as an Operations Director within the Insurance Industry
- First class IT skills
- A passion for strategizing and executing projects to assist in moving the business forward
- Ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and third party organisations
- Self-motivated
