Senior Loans Agency Transaction Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced loans agency transaction manager to join their syndicated loans team covering large and mid-corporates, leverage finance, project and infrastructure finance as well as Real Estate and shipping. The successful candidate will have the global responsibility for handling the facility and security agency function for the syndicated loans for the Investment bank, utilising all of their experience and attention to detail within the role.

Principle Duties;

• Global responsibility for handling the Facility and Security Agency function for Investment Banking’s syndicated loans.
• Transactions include; Large and Mid-Corporates, Leverage Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Real Estate & Shipping
• Responsible for post syndication “after sales service” interface between borrowers and syndicate lenders where the bank is Agent
• Timely collection and distribution of financial information and related correspondence to syndicate lenders
• Processing waiver and amendment requests for the Borrower, ensuring compliance with loan documents i.e. financial covenants.
• Processing of novations.
• Pre-signing review of loan documentation ensuring compliance with the bank’s internal policies and guidelines.
• Liaise with and support the back office in the setting up of new deals where the bank are involved and the ongoing administration, both for facilities where we are agent and where we take a participation in a corporate syndicated facility.

Experience Required;

• Loans Agency experience as facility and security Agent
• Experience of complex transactions
• Waiver and amendment experience
• Dealing with security docs including taking security in different jurisdictions, reading security docs
• Agency and participation hat on
• Dealing with internal and external lawyers
• Assignments and transfers
• Team player
• Ability to add value and think outside the box
