Are you a seasoned credit control professional with a track record of managing high-volume, multi-site ledgers?Our client, a well-established leisure and retail brand based in Central London, is seeking an Interim Senior Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation at a critical time of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong cash flow.

  • Manage a portfolio of B2B and B2C accounts across multiple sites and revenue streams.

  • Monitor aged debt and implement effective strategies to reduce outstanding balances.

  • Act as the main point of contact for escalated accounts and complex queries.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments including Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues efficiently.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on debtor performance and risk to senior stakeholders.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of credit policies and procedures.

About You:
  • Proven experience in a Senior Credit Controller or Credit Manager role.

  • Ideally worked within a multi-site environment such as Retail, FMCG, Hospitality, or Manufacturing.

  • Strong understanding of credit risk and debtor management in high-volume environments.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage key relationships.

  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, commercially driven business.

  • Proficient in Excel and credit control systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.)
