We are looking for servers with a friendly smile and a positive and courteous attitude to join our Food and Beverage team in our small luxury boutique hotel soon to open in Belgravia, London.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum Highschool degree, sanitation and food safety training will be considered a plus
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly personality and positive attitude
- Courteous demeanor towards guests and coworkers
- Professional appearance
- Related previous experience in food and beverage operations
- Commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders, meet any special requirements or requests. Ask for any allergies.
- Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients and daily specials to respond to guest inquiries and make suggestions.
- Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services and activities
- Upsell when appropriate
- Arrange table settings
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver cheques and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations and all customer service guide lines
Wages:
12.00 GBP/hour plus tips
