Data Management Consultant (Manager level) is required by our client, a well-known business & digital consultancy working on a large-scale finance data transformation programme.
They need a self-starting consultant with excellent Data Management and Data Transformation background, preferably consulting experience (but not essential). Exceptional stakeholder management experience is key for this position.
You will lead a small team of data professionals delivering a range of data management and governance initiatives, helping to structure the team and deliver efficiently and to high standard.
Duration: 6 months initial
IR35: Inside (via Umbrella)
£650-670 per day
Location: Largely remote with occasional travel to London (N1)
You will:
- Capture current state data archival & retention requirements by process and systems, by working closely with process and engineering teams
- Conduct workshops with process, product, technology, legal and compliance to develop data archival and retention policies and requirements for future state
- Develop an archival and retention strategy and options paper
- Lead the Data Migration activities with the technology teams
