£700 - £750 per day (Outside IR35)

I am working with a leading insurance business as they undergo a group wide digital and data transformation programme. The business has been a leader in their space for several years and are now looking to evolve their data landscape to drive advanced analytics and decision making for the future.
This is a Data Platform Architect role, so we are looking for someone that knows the ins and outs of the Snowflake Datawarehouse and works at the Platform level rather than say a solution or enterprise architect.
This would suit a contractor that has come from a Data or Software Engineering background and now has experience in:
- Snowflake Data Platform
- Event Driven Architectures
- Data Mesh Architecture
- Python, SQL and Kafka
- Financial Services
Please note an Insurance background is desirable but not essential. This project is long term, 6 months initially with the view to extend and can pay a rate of up to £750 per day (Outside IR35) with 2 days per week required on site in London.
