AWS Data Engineer / Professional Services Consultant - London-centric clientele - £75K + bens - AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, and Python ++Open to candidates UK-wide, this ambitious Data Management and Analytics consultancy can give a driven candidate plenty of scope to continue to develop their career working with an enviable client list of UK banks and wider financial services companies.They are a niche Data Management & Analytics consultancy with their roots in client partnerships going back many years; successfully working with these companies helping them gain valuable insight from their data and providing analytical reporting to help them achieve their strategic objectives.They are now looking to recruit another AWS Data Engineering Consultant with core technical experience within AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, and Python - ideally gained within Financial Services.You will be working with teams of data experts on varied and challenging projects within a client portfolio of Financial Services heavyweights ranging from Tier-1 Investment & Retail Banks to emerging challenger banks and established insurance providers.Technical Skills:o Proficiency in AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, and Pythono Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing.o Strong SQL skillso Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafkao Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)o Working knowledge of data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense)Additional Skills:o Client-facing and communication skillso Leadership and mentoring capabilitieso Understanding of cloud fundamentals (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)o Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologiesResponsibilities:* Developing and optimizing data pipelines* Building and maintaining data architectures* Leading projects and teams* Ensuring data quality and integrityYou must be:* Willing to work on client sites.* Willing to travel for work purposes and be happy to stay away from home Mon-Fri.* Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
