Assistant Store Manager | Islington, London
Full time | £27,500 + bonus
Come and join Cotswold Outdoor and Runners Need, part of the Outdoor & Cycle Concepts group, who are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join their team in Islington, London.
You’ll be a key partner to the Store Manager, creating a seamless experience for all customers whilst combining your love for the outdoors with your drive, enthusiasm and leadership skills!
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with core operational processes relating to inventory and stock, audits, and banking
- Being a role model to inspire the team to deliver a premium level of customer service
- Creating a premium and inclusive shopping experience by connecting with customers to understand their specific needs and wants with brands such as the North Face, Berghaus and Arc’teryx
- Leading and motivating the store team in the Store Manager’s absence
- Working closely with the Store Manager to maintain high standards of presentation across the store and implementing seasonal campaigns and promotions
You'll really fit in if you have:
- Experience managing and coaching a team in retail to achieve group objectives
- A customer-first approach with experience in supporting customers find the perfect product for their adventures
- An understanding of how a retail store operates, including: profit + loss, compliance, processes, and visual merchandising
- A one team mentality to consistently contribute to the development and improvement of your store and team
