Reliability Engineer - Oakthorpe Dairy

We currently have a vacancy for an Reliability Engineer at our site in Oakthorpe, North London. At Arla we are proud to invest in the very latest, state of the art machinery required to manufacture, store and despatch our products. We look for people who will take a proactive approach towards the maintenance, repair and improvement of our equipment, professionals who will take the lead and take an imaginative approach towards their work. You will work closely with our production team to establish their needs and deliver the right solution.

Responsibilities

  • You will initiate root cause analysis investigations, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans.
  • You will drive the delivery of planned/predictive engineering maintenance across all production lines & process areas,
  • You will facilitate the development and upskilling of CI teams by leading/facilitating these through a number of lean manufacturing areas to deliver improvements across the Dairy using tools & techniques such as TPM, RCM, FMEA, 5'S and Kaizen events etc.
  • Identify and implement improvement ideas to achieve world-class standards relating to OEE, quality and H&S measurements across the facility.

Skills and Experience

  • We are looking for Multi-Skilled Engineers (electrical, automation and mechanical skills) preferably with experience in the FMCG, Food or Beverage sectors.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques and methodologies.
  • You will be HND or Apprentice trained with the ability to fault find and interrogate PLC systems, so experience of Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi systems is required.
  • You will have the ability to work with wider teams stakeholders and develop others in the team.
  • You will have demonstrable experience building business cases, reporting to senior leadership teams, and manging costs/budgets and 3rd party contractors.
