Job Title: Digital Product Designer (UI/UX)
Experience: 5+ years
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Design Manager and working close with the web team as a UX lead. Taking accountability for the design decisions, governance & delivery of high quality, best in class solutions, back by data and insights.
  • Take end to end responsibility for the design process from concept and ideation, through to prototyping and testing to deliver high quality visual designs, that meet both user and business needs.
  • Working closely with the development teams to ensure solutions are feasible and final deliverables implemented correctly to design specifications.
  • Contribute and maintenance of our design systems ensuring scalability and consistency across all platforms.
  • Work with the design team, to be informed of branding decisions and make sure they cascade to the UX world.


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design with a focus on visual design
  • Strong skills in Figma
  • Experience working with brands teams or agencies, ensuring brand consistency across different channels.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex design problems.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and ability to conduct user research and testing.
  • Being a team player, working collaboratively with other members of the team.
  • Solution oriented mindset with a can-do attitude.


Day-to-day workload:
Every day is a little bit different. You will collaborate with a wide group of stakeholders on multiple projects in your stream. These vary from small optimisations to enhance an existing solution, to larger more complex changes to core journeys. Some days you will be in workshops where you may be rapidly prototyping to bring innovative ideas to life, other days you will be focused, headphones on, perfecting the final screens ready for dev handover.

In short, you'll get a chance to work on all elements of the design process . We're also big on insights, both qualitative and quantitative. We want to make sure we're solving the right problems.
