Our client, a leading organisation in the financial sector, is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Assistant Vice President (AVP) in the Reconciliations & Investigations department. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting!

What You Will Do:

As an AVP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Section Manager by supervising daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring adherence to daily key controls and operational deadlines.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for operational issues, ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Facilitating team training and development through study sessions and one-on-one reviews.
  • Representing the OS Control Group as a subject matter expert on various projects.
  • Proactively reviewing and enhancing desktop procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Producing and disseminating insightful weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information reports.

Your Background:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Education: A Level (Minimum)
Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Keen risk awareness.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system development.
  • Proficiency in Nostro and Sub Ledger Reconciliations.
