Early Years Teacher – Clapham Junction School – Wandsworth

This school boasts a lovely, open plan space in the desirable location of Clapham Junction. It’s the perfect setting for an EYFS looking for a permanent Early Years teacher role and is an ASAP start.

The role

As an early years teacher in this welcoming and supportive school, you will be responsible for supporting work schemes and lesson plans in line with the requirements of the early years foundation stage (EYFS). 

This role will also give you the opportunity to imaginatively use resources to motivate children and facilitate learning.

The Ideal candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Experience of engaging pupils with learning, through effective communication and full understanding of a pupil’s needs.
  • Be a positive role model.
  • A flexible, ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Passion for working with young children

The position would entail preparing teaching activities, experiences, and resources, both inside and outside the classroom.
