Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, assisting with classroom activities and resources.
- Individualised Assistance: Offer individualised support to students, including those with special educational needs or English as an additional language, to ensure their inclusion and participation in learning activities.
- Behaviour Management: Assist in maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and resolving conflicts when necessary.
- Curriculum Support: Support the implementation of the school's curriculum, helping students achieve their learning objectives and academic goals.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support students' overall well-being and academic progress.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Passion for Education: Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting, is desirable but not essential.
- Team Player: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the school environment and willing to undertake training and development opportunities as required.
