- Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities for students with Autism and ADHD.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning experiences.
- Building strong relationships with students, understanding their individual needs, and helping them develop essential life skills.
- Collaborating with the school's multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists.
- Creating and adapting learning materials to accommodate different learning styles.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.
- Previous experience working with children with Autism and ADHD is highly desirable.
- A patient and empathetic approach to understanding and meeting the diverse needs of our students.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the wider school community.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related fields are advantageous.
- You will be paid the permanent equivalent pay for the job after 12 full weeks.
