Job Title: Ecologist

Salary: £29,000 - £33,000

Location: National

We have a new opportunity for an Ecologist to join a leading employee-owned Environmental Consultancy with opportunities on a national basis. As an Ecologist you will be able to work from home or in the office as needed (with excellent flexibility on your location), get 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, enhanced stakeholder pension, health insurance, paid professional memberships, clothing allowance, bonus scheme and progression opportunities.

As an Ecologist the role is a mix of field and desk-based work. You will be responsible for managing your own diverse portfolio of projects, performing a range of surveys, PEAs, and ECiA's, and providing a best-practice ecological advice and services to your clients.

To be considered for the Ecologist position you will need proven experience in ecological consultancy, a membership of CIEEM, hold one or more protected species licences (or be working towards them), in-depth knowledge of survey techniques across different species, project management skills, and hold a full driving licence.
