Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading Engineering Consultancy, on a contract basis.
This position offers the chance to attend the London office on a hybrid basis whilst working on exciting Data Centre and Laboratory projects.
As the selected candidate, you will have the opportunity to join an experienced Engineering team and play a crucial role in the design, implementation and maintenance of various Electrical Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and comprehend project briefs to identify client requirements
- Develop specifications for various Electrical building services systems
- Collaborate with the BIM team to create models and drawings
- Represent the company at meetings with clients and contractors
- Conduct thorough site surveys and inspections
- Monitor ongoing site works to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Prepare detailed reports and technical notes, documenting project progress
- Review project progress, identifying and reporting any anomalies
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- Possess a proactive work ethic
- Proficient in a range of digital tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of the principle of buildings physics
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to manage personal workload and make decisions to meet project goals
