About the Role - Employer Engagement Manager

As an employer engagement manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the organisation’s employer strategy. You’ll build strong partnerships with businesses across the UK, generating high-quality referrals and contributing directly to the success of national programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering a referral strategy that aligns with funding requirements

  • Driving proactive employer engagement to meet ambitious growth targets

  • Ensuring all referrals are fully compliant and onboarded efficiently

  • Collaborating with delivery, compliance, and administrative teams to streamline the candidate journey

  • Tracking performance, analysing data, and reporting on outcomes

You’re a goal-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. With a strong background in employer engagement or business development, you're confident engaging stakeholders at all levels and skilled at converting leads into results.

To succeed as an employer engagement manager, you’ll need:

  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets

  • Experience working within Employability Programmes (e.g., ESFA, ASF)

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Solid understanding of funding rules, eligibility criteria, and compliance

  • A data-driven approach to performance and reporting
