Senior Building Physics Consultant

This is the exciting opportunity for a Senior Building Physics Consultant to join a multidisciplined engineering and environmental consultancy in their offices in London. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of projects in the property, education, healthcare, waste, energy, carbon, Net zero and building certifications.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out Thermal comfort analysis and CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy analysis.
  • Undertake Building regulations compliance modelling and NABERS simulations
  • assist on Passive design and low-zero carbon technology studies
  • Aid with Net-zero operational energy studies for new and retrofit projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy analysis
  • CIBSE LCEA level 5 Accreditation with demonstratable experience in carrying out Part L calculations
  • Relevant experience with carrying out operational energy modelling, overheating, and daylight assessments
  • Knowledge and experience with BREEAM analysis and IES ApacheHVAC for energy modelling
  • OCDEA certification would be desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
