Energy Consultant - London

This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent multidisciplined engineering consultancy who operate on a nationwide basis with offices in London. My client is looking for an Energy Consultant to join a dynamic team of sustainability and energy experts to work on a range of projects across the UK.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Carry out energy assessments on a range of commercial projects to ensure they are complying with UK building regulations
  • Make sure designs are inline with UK legislations, CIBSE guides, best practice and are environmentally sensitive
  • Carryout site visits and produce site reports from findings and evaluate post occupancy performances
  • Produce EPC's and Part L reports, as well as working alongside structural engineers, builders, and architects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree within a Sustainability, engineering or building services discipline
  • Experience within a Sustainability engineering or consultancy role
  • Have at least a level 4 NDEA accreditation with previous experience generating EPCs for residential and commercial properties
  • Proficient with IES-VE software and a strong passion for sustainability and the built environment
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
