This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join an independent Engineering and Sustainability Consultancy who work across the commercial and residential sectors in the vibrant city of London.

Senior Sustainability Consultant Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in sustainability, environmental, engineering, architecture or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience of environmental certification for buildings (BREEAM, LEED, WELL, Fitwell)
  • Experience in building energy modelling e.g. IES and SAP
  • Communication skills, written and verbal
  • Understanding of the policy & regulatory landscape relating to sustainable buildings and building energy in the UK
  • BREEAM Assessor qualification
  • BREEAM AP qualification
  • Low Carbon Consultant, NABERs, NDEA, LCEA qualifications (Desirable)
  • Analytical skills and computer literate e.g. Excel

Senior Sustainability Consultant Duties:

  • Complete environmental assessment of buildings using BREEAM, LEED, and Ska
  • Provide advice and complete building physics modelling to assess building performance e.g. daylight, overheating, thermal comfort
  • Undertake health and wellbeing assessment of buildings using WELL and Fitwel
  • Sustainability statements for planning applications
  • Whole life carbon including operational and embodied carbon, and circular economy principals
  • Complete energy and sustainability strategies
  • Manage projects and present findings, progress reports, and budget
  • Support junior members of staff
