What You'll Do:As a Corporate Assistant Manager in their London-based team, you will:

  • Manage your portfolio of clients, focusing on audit (70%) and accounts preparation work (30%), with a total fee income of approximately £300K.
  • Review completed audit files and present them for final review.
  • Supervise and develop junior staff members.
  • Take responsibility for portfolio WIP, billing, and debtor control.
  • Assist senior managers in planning, controlling, and reviewing larger, more complex assignments.
  • Develop your commercial awareness through fee development and cross-selling activities.

What You Need:While you might not have all the experience listed below, if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we'd love to hear from you:

  • A professional accounting qualification – ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA (minimum criteria)
  • Ability to project manage multiple audit engagements and delegate work effectively (minimum criteria)
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and IFRS
  • Client-facing experience
  • Commercially focused with the ability to spot new business opportunities
  • Experience with audit software (they use Caseware) and Microsoft packages
