Commercial Finance Lead – FinTech

Talentedge are delighted to be partnering with a hyper-growth FinTech on a Commercial Finance Lead role, where you will be partnering with the Global COO and business functions that they are directly responsible for which includes Sales, Commercial and Marketing.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Oversee and develop a high-performing commercial finance function
  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting & planning, in particular for the Marketing, Sales & Commercial functions
  • Partner C-Suite / Heads of Functions / Board / Investors
  • Support COO function by increasing insights used to drive commercial negotiations and conversations with new and existing partners
  • Create business cases and complex financial models to drive forward business decision making
  • Produce investor and other stakeholder reporting packs

Profile:

  • Qualified accountant or investment banker 
  • High-growth company experience, ideally in a B2C high-volume transactional business model (FinTech isn’t essential)
  • Mathematical and data driven in approach
  • Advanced financial modelling skills. Strong BI & data analytics exposure is advantageous
  • Established business partner and effective communicator- Comfortable advising, challenging and influencing all teams across the business with a particular focus on BD / Sales / Commercial functions
