They are dedicated to revolutionising education through innovative technology solutions and have experienced significant growth on an international scale. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join the team and lead their financial reporting efforts.

Role Overview: As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting processes. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end close, financial statements preparation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to their continued success and growth in the dynamic EdTech sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organisation to gather financial data and support business initiatives.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to support their rapid growth trajectory.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience in a finance role within an outsourced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
