A great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, PE backed, luxury goods business.

Initially as an FM, this role will see very fast progression, presenting exposure to all aspects of the company, reporting directly to the CFO.

It will be challenging and varied and include:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the GL/Accountant team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes in accordance with (I)FRS standards.
  • Manage tax-related activities, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Transfer Pricing, and other tax matters.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Drive project management initiatives within the finance function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure consolidation of financial data across business units, providing accurate and timely financial insights.
  • Provide guidance and support on accounting, compliance, and regulatory matters to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA) or (ACCA) qualification is essential.
  • 3-5 years of experience at an accounting firm, with a strong foundation in accounting principles, audit, and tax.
  • Subsequent experience in a similar role within a commercial company, demonstrating expertise in financial management and leadership.
  • Specialisation in accounting, tax, audit, compliance, and consolidation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
