- Producing the monthly management accounts
- Reporting to the Financial ControllerÂ
- Produce and oversee a range of reporting including monthly management reporting and cash flow forecasting, along with ensuring all balance sheets are reconciled monthly
- Supporting FC with the year end audit and any other external reviews.
- Preparing the statutory accounts for the largest group entity.
- Preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports both from the finance system and on Excel. Â These will support business requirements and finance checks to ensure data is up to date and accurate. Â
- This is expected to evolve into more focused analysis to ensure team spends and specific cost areas are well controlled and in line with budget.
- Direct line management of a management accountant and an assistant accountant to ensure all transactions are correctly processed. Â
- Supporting them to gain additional experience and career development.
- The role is outward facing to the wider business, interacting across all functions.
