I am recruiting the Financial Accounting Manager for a rapidly growing, international professional services firm.

As Financial Accounting Manager you will lead the team (4) responsible for all aspects of statutory accounting and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Managing both overseas and UK subsidiary statutory accounting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant (IFRS) accounting standards
  • Liaising with the Auditors on all aspects of reporting, ensuring that all relevant information is provided within agreed timeframes.
  • Review and oversee month end close entries made by the team
  • Identifying any accounting or technical issues in accordance with IFRS and leading on the resolution of these items.
  • Leading, developing and mentoring the team.

Your profile:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA), ideally you will have trained in an audit practice.
  • Possess strong financial and statutory accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex technical / IFRS accounting issues.
  • Meticulously organised and detail focused.
  • Interpersonally strong and able to lead a team of finance professionals.
  • Legal experience would be beneficial.

Hybrid - 2-3 days in Central London office.
