We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to join our dynamic team at our global insurance client. We are looking for a talented individual to drive financial strategy and execution during this interim period.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership, guidance, and support to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas, such as underwriting, claims, and risk management, to optimise financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of finance team members to build a high-performing organisation.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in senior finance roles within the insurance industry is ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with SAP.
