My client is an independent advisory firm based in St Paul's, with an office requirement of 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- You will ensure all obligations and requirements under ICAEW regulations are met
- Ensure they have the necessary licenses in place for their business operations
- Plan and perform thematic and specialist compliance and assurance reviews across the business
- Manage any external compliance and assurance auditors
- Prepare and present regular periodic compliance and risk management reports to the firm's senior management
- You will be the main point of contact for your clients
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in managing regulatory compliance in a professional services setting
- Sound understanding of legal and regulatory matters affecting chartered accountants as auditors
- Good working knowledge of all relevant regulatory regimes
- Industry-recognised qualification(s) in a compliance-related area
- Knowledge of ICAEW ethical and professional standards
