Key Features of Role:

  • Creating client opportunities for annual reviews on CRM system
  • Generating investment review reports on provider platforms and sending to clients
  • Inputting investment details into CRM system, generating and checking the annual review report figures and sending to clients.
  • Assisting and supporting junior members of the team with technical complexities
  • Contacting third parties and providers to gather detailed information, inputting details into CRM system and collating detailed policy analysis notes for the advisers.
  • Creating client summary documents to be sent to clients outlining their circumstances and investment holdings
  • Analysing information received from clients and providers and utilising research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Analysing clients’ existing products to determine whether they meet the client’s current needs and objectives.
  • Undertaking fund performance and illustration comparisons.
  • Obtaining all necessary documentation in order to prepare correspondence for accessing retirement benefits.
  • Performing necessary research ahead of fund switch proposals.
  • Obtaining/generating necessary information and performing research for advisers when requested.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum two years of pensions experience in a technical role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Practical knowledge of financial planning, pensions and investments.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), incl customer service
  • Experience with CRM systems and strong technology skills
  • Although not essential, experience of working with industry known tools such as Dynamic Planner and/or SelectAPension etc would be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, a self-starter and hard working
  • Adaptable and receptive to feedback
  • Enthusiasm to grow with business in an ambitious company
  • Good financial and mathematical literacy
