Experienced financial planning administrator or support person required for our established and friendly IFA firm in central London. There is huge potential in this role. Hybrid working 3 days in the office. Salary from £40,000.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our established business. The directors have worked hard over many years to create a successful financial planning firm with lots of loyal and happy clients. Our focus is on client service and continuing to do the best for the individuals and companies that we work for. This is the chance to work in a varied role switching between report writing, compliance assistance and general administration duties. We also have an eye on the future of the business and this role has the potential to take significantly more in the coming years. The future could be very bright for the right person at Progress Financial Planning.

This is a full-time role working with two directors and the other support staff. Duties will include:

  • Writing new business.
  • Assisting the compliance officer, reports for review meetings and
  • Communicating with clients throughout the advice process.
  • Proving administration support in the areas of retirement planning, pensions, investments and IHT planning.

Essential skills

  • Several years experience gained working in an IFA or financial planning practice as a report writer and support administrator.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other commonly used industry software.
  • Good communication and client service skills.
  • Proficient working in a busy environment, sometimes involving deadlines and able to assist other in the office with their work.
  • A good knowledge of compliance and Consumer Duty.
  • Able to work in our office in central London, currently 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.
