Prospero Teaching are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Early Years Primary Class Teachers to start in September 2024.

Located in Norwood, the school caters to a diverse mix of students across primary, secondary, and post-16 levels, all with a primary or secondary diagnosis of autism. Every student is non-verbal and requires extensive support, learning below year 1 level.

?? Hours: 8:45am - 4:15pm
?? Ongoing Placements: Temp to Perm
?? Salary: Paid to Scale (£140 - £240)

What You'll Do:
As an Early Years Primary Class Teacher, you'll play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

?? Understanding autism and tailoring teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
?? Developing and implementing a bespoke curriculum that enables all children to access learning effectively.
????? Collaborating with up to 3 Teaching Assistants to provide individualised support and guidance in the classroom.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
?? A deep understanding of autism and its impact on learning.
?? Experience or a strong interest in working with children with special needs.
????? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), equivalent certification or an extensive SEN teaching experience.
