Year 1 Teacher – Hammersmith and Fulham– Starting September

This is an attractive opportunity for a Year 1 early career teacher (ECT) or experienced teacher to become a valued member of a professional and supportive team in a desirable, welcoming 3 form primary school located in Hammersmith.

The role

As an enthusiastic and capable Year 1 teacher, this role has a great deal to offer and is a fantastic way to kickstart your career. As a key function of the role, you will be required to foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential. 

As a year 1 teacher, you will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum, with the aid of a friendly and encouraging team.

The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Have experience teaching
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion and enthusiasm for teaching and student success
• Capability of ensuring pupils safety
