Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual? Long Term Futures is looking for a fantastic Behaviour Mentor to join a "Good"-rated primary school in Wandsworth. This is a chance to make a tangible difference in a supportive educational setting. You'll be focusing on guiding pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural development. With a strong culture of support and a focus on consistency, we believe this is an excellent opportunity for the right person.

Behaviour Mentor is a vital role. At Long Term Futures, we specialise in finding you the right fit. This isn't day-to-day supply; you'll have long-term stability and the potential for a permanent role. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to foster a positive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated one-on-one and small group support.

  • Implement strategies to help children manage emotions.

  • Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with pupils.

  • De-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children's behaviour in a school.

  • Understanding of behaviour management techniques.

  • The ability to remain calm in difficult situations.

  • A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to get one.
