Float Legal PA

Prestigious US law firm is seeking a polished and proactive Float Legal PA to deliver high-level support to partners and associates across a variety of client and administrative matters.

  • Salary to £55,000 + excellent employee benefits including free meals/snacks/refreshments
  • Hybrid working (4 days office / Fridays WFH)
  • Stunning City office near Liverpool Street station

Float Legal PA Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a gatekeeper for fee earners, answering telephone calls, and diary management for fee earners.
  • Draft correspondence and documents where appropriate e.g. emails, event invites and engagement letters.
  • Amend, convert, and format documents and processing mark-ups; create and amend pitch documents in PowerPoint.
  • Arrange travel for fee earner meetings and events etc. including domestic and international travel.
  • Assist with fee earner time recording and expense reimbursements.
  • Arrange internal and client meetings to include room bookings and organising lunches.
  • Assist with answering billing queries by email or over the phone.
  • Arranging BD / networking events with clients.
  • Opening new matters, assisting the fee earner with conflict checks and liaising with the risk/client engagement team.

Float Legal PA Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous law firm experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and other MS Office products is essential.
  • Knowledge of document management systems.
  • Fast and accurate typing with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels, including Partners and clients.
