Grounds Maintenance needed in Queens Park, City of London, £16.53ph PAYE - Reference: 419732

  • To assist with undertaking daily patrols to provide advice and information to visitors.
  • Report and carry out minor repairs where practical e.g. fence repairs, drain/gully clearance, cleaning and updating notice boards.
  • To assist with sweeping and maintaining pathways and helping with waste and recycling.
  • To assist with cleaning Public Toilets
  • To assist staff with incidents and to provide support enforcing the Park byelaws and preparing written reports on any incidents that occur on the Park to ensure accurate records are kept.
  • To have a personal awareness of health & safety issues relative to the working environment. And to have a responsibility for compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
  • To foster welcome and care for people and ensure effective communication providing information and strive to resolve all enquires / complaints made by users and visitors.
  • To encourage use and enjoyment of all the recreational facilities through building strong links with users.
  • To be involved in specified projects and programmes that support the Management Strategy.
  • Assist with undertaking set up and break down for wedding ceremonies held within Hill Garden
