We are currently working on behalf of a highly respected and successful US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new HR Administrator. Working as part of a close-knit, collaborative team, this is a new permanent opportunity for a junior HR professional to build upon their experience and enjoy great exposure.

This is an exciting generalist opportunity, offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000 and hybrid working arrangements.

Duties will include:

  • Updating and circulating office-wide communications
  • Monitoring the HR inboxes daily
  • Data entry duties on the HR system (Workday) to include new joiner/leaver information, vacation, sickness, secondments and other leave of absences
  • Monitoring sickness absence
  • Assisting the HR team with the employee life cycle processes i.e., onboarding, offboarding and change in terms of employment
  • Preparing letters as required e.g. references, salary increase, probation etc.
  • Assisting the HR team with scheduling meetings/wellbeing initiatives
  • Carrying out Right to Work checks for new employees
  • Being a main point of contact for all lawyer vacation queries and calculations
  • Diarising HR team reminders
  • Updating HR trackers
  • Maintaining HR pages on Firm intranet
  • Providing administrative assistance and assisting on projects

Suitable applicants will have ideally undertaken a degree and have gained some prior experience in an HR or administrative role in a law firm or professional services environment. We are seeking candidates with strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and exemplary communication skills.
