The Role
Joining our main kitchen, you will be part of an innovative and passionate culinary team supporting all our dining outlets and event operations. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play an essential role in supporting the senior kitchen leadership team in delivering consistently high standards of cuisine and service across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team in managing daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets.
  • Supervise, motivate, and train junior kitchen staff to maintain the highest culinary and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, ensuring dishes reflect quality, seasonality, and creativity.
  • Maintain consistency of food preparation, presentation, and portion control.
  • Assist with ordering, stock control, and management of kitchen costs in line with budgeted targets.
  • Uphold health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times.
  • Lead service sections efficiently and confidently, ensuring smooth and timely delivery during busy periods.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment.

Your Profile

  • Currently working as a Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up.
  • Proven experience in a 5-star hotel or large multi-outlet luxury restaurant operation.
  • Professionally trained with a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in menu development and managing a large kitchen brigade.
  • Some knowledge of kitchen management, including budgeting, cost control, and ordering.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence in every dish.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexible and reliable, able to work 47 hours per week, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
