Position Overview:As a Project Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of our building services projects with a specific focus on fixed wire testing. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or building services, coupled with proven leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fixed wire testing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, develop tailored solutions, and maintain clear lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential risks, hazards, and compliance issues, and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Supervise and provide guidance to project teams, including technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the building services or electrical industry, with a focus on fixed wire testing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards, including BS 7671 (18th Edition) and IET Wiring Regulations.
- Relevant certifications, such as PRINCE2, PMP, or NEBOSH, are desirable but not essential.
