I am looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join a newly established damp and mould team for a housing association in the London area. The Maintenance Surveyor will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of properties to identify damp and mould growth. This role does require travel all across London for appointments but business mileage will be provided.

Maintenance Surveyor responsibilities:
- Prepare and carry out diagnostic inspections, surveys & technical reports in accordance with Group practice.
- Providing accurate technical advice with competent & thorough surveys/post-inspections.
- Carry out Damp and Mould Surveys
- Evaluate the extent of damage caused by damp and mould growth, including structural issues and health hazards.
- Use equipment to measure moisture levels, assess ventilation systems and detect the potential sources.
Maintenance Surveyor essential:
- Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3
- Membership of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB
- Knowledge of the Social Housing Sector and awareness of its regulations
- Experience in damp and mould surveying
